NewVDS (beta), a client portal on your own domain and a panel running on two servers
WebJoiner

Sell VDS from your own Proxmox cluster.

The VDS module is offered as a beta: you connect your Proxmox VE cluster to the panel, and virtual servers are created for your clients from the panel with packages, templates and an IP pool. Power actions, reinstalls and the in-browser console are available in both the panel and the client portal.

What can you do?

  1. Connect your own Proxmox cluster

The VDS run on your hardware; the panel connects to your cluster through its API.

    • The connection uses the Proxmox VE API; the key is stored encrypted.
    • Operating system templates and ISO images are managed from the cluster card; template files are verified with SHA-256.
    • You define the IP pool; IP assignments are recorded with their history.
  2. Packages and automatic setup

Your client gets a VDS through a package; setup proceeds automatically in the panel.

    • You set vCPU, memory, disk and port speed in the VDS package.
    • The virtual server is created from a template, network and access settings are written, and an IP is assigned from the pool.
    • If setup is interrupted it continues where it left off; if it cannot be completed, the steps taken are rolled back.
    • Access details go to the client by e-mail or, if you prefer, through a single-use WhatsApp link.
  3. Power, reinstall and console

After the server is up, every action is still in the panel.

    • Start, restart and shut down; reinstall the operating system and reset the password.
    • In-browser console: you reach the server's screen even without SSH access.
    • Your client manages their own VDS from the client portal.
    • An unpaid VDS is suspended; every action is written to the audit log along with the person who performed it.

What's in the beta?

What works today and what doesn't yet, stated plainly.

  • Proxmox VE

Proxmox VE clusters are supported today; you can connect more than one cluster.

  • Network protection

IP and MAC filtering is enabled on every virtual server; outgoing port 25 (SMTP) is closed by default.

  • Reseller and client

Resellers connect their own clusters and sell to their own clients; a client sees only their own server.

  • On the roadmap

SolusVM and vSphere support, connecting clusters behind NAT over VPN, and applying operating system updates from the panel.

  • Not in this release

Virtual server snapshots and backups, traffic metering and purchasing from the portal are not available yet.

  • As a module

VDS is a module enabled according to your reseller package; during the beta we clarify the scope in the introductory call.

Questions about VDS

For all questions, see the FAQ page or message us on WhatsApp.

Can I sell VDS?

Yes, the VDS module is offered as a beta. You connect your own Proxmox VE cluster to the panel and define VDS packages, operating system templates and the IP pool; a virtual server for your client is then created automatically from the panel. The module is enabled according to your reseller package; the VDS page lists what the beta does and does not include.

Which virtualization platforms are supported?

Only Proxmox VE today. SolusVM and vSphere are on the roadmap; we don't give dates.

How does my client access their VDS?

When setup finishes, the access details go to the client by e-mail or, if you prefer, through a single-use WhatsApp link. From the client portal the client starts and restarts the server, resets its password and reaches its screen through the in-browser console.
